My old mind is taxed, but I owned a 670 at one time, got it in trade. However, it was brand new, and it had the conventional 3 position model 70 safety. It was strictly a plain jane deal to look at, with very, very basic matte finish blueing and a "hardwood' stock that had about as poor a finish as any that I have ever seen on a factory gun.
